Get Smart With Art (GSWA) is a free art program for children 8-14 years old. The classes are held every second Saturday of each month with the exception of June and July. They are held in the classroom at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery at 10:00 – 11:45. Throughout the year we will be discussing and creating art using many different elements of art and being inspired by famous artist. We will be introducing the children to different art mediums, techniques and cultures through art. Students must register the first time they attend GSWA by filling out a registration form with contact information. Every month, after that initial registration, then the student only has to sign up no earlier one month before the next class to get on a list. Our capacity is 15 students and when the class is full the students will be on a wait list and if a spot opens up we will call the first names on the list.

For first time students only click on the link below, print out the form and drop off at the gallery front desk.
