Our Volunteers are Everything


The Virgin Valley Artists' Association, Mesquite Fine Arts Center, Pottery Studio, Student Art Supply Outlet, and classroom are all run by our volunteers. 
We are always in need of volunteers and have a multitude of positions open for different talents and time commitments.

Below is a current list of volunteer positions.

Art
  1. Hanging committee
  2. Co-Chair for the Gift Shop
  3. People to pour paint for Palette and Pour Parties
  4. Decorate bags (customers love these!)
  5. Assisting with existing art classes or volunteering your time to give an art class.


Community Involvement

  1. Attend chamber of commerce meetings (alternate)
  2. People knowledgeable about Fundraising

Education

  1. Chair for Workshops
  2. Steering Committee Chair for Educational Programs
  3. Work with children for the Get Smart With Art (GSWA) classes
  4. Assist instructors for the adult Stay Smart With Art (SSWA) classes
  5. Assisting with existing art classes or volunteering your time to give an art class.


General

  1. TAM card holders to serve alcohol at the Palette Paint and Pour Parties, receptions, etc.
  2. Alternates for most positions


Office/Front Desk

  1. People knowledgeable about Data Input
  2. People knowledgeable about IT
  3. People to learn Square and work the Front Desk


Outside Social Events

  1. Chair for Plein Air Group
  2. Chair for Member Outings


Cleaning

  1. Once a month, 4-6 PM (sometimes 7 PM), sit in gallery while cleaners do floors and windows then lock up
  2. Alternate for Wednesday mornings to open and stay in gallery while bathrooms are cleaned (7:30 AM - ?)
  3. Help with Landscaping needs (trimming, pick up debris)
